Unfortunately, like most, you may not have realize that you were doubling the work and responsibility that comes with home ownership, made more difficult by distance. The time you can break away from your routine is precious. Mountain Aire Cottage Care's primary goal is to help you make time you have more enjoyable. We strive to relieve you of some of the "less than fun" chores and concerns often associated with a vacation home.

Mountain Aire Cottage Care can lighten your load. We can help you manage your vacation home in a variety of ways. Although we began as a cleaning service, we have expanded our services to provide you with more options. Our services are listed to the right and detailed further down the page.

Open the season with our Spring cleaning

To start, we offer a "Season Open". This is a thorough top to bottom cleaning you often associate with spring cleaning. You are given an itemized list of completed work. We can also help with the outside chores. Start your season with a fresh, clean cabin, ready for your relaxation.

Keep it looking great with regular cleaning

We can also help you maintain your home by "routinely cleaning" throughout the season. This could be weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or on-call. When entertaining family or friends, wouldn't it be great to have Mountain Aire Cottage Care clean thoroughly before they arrive? Or better yet, after they leave? You should be having fun, not doing chores.

Extend your weekend with our Weekend Care Package

"Weekend Care Package" is for those who drive in on Fridays and leave again on Sundays. We can make those weekends seem a little longer. We prepare your cottage/cabin for your arrival and clean up after you've gone. Before you arrive the cottage cleaned, windows opened, up to 10 grocery items bought, beds made and the heat turned on. After you leave the garbage is emptied, cottage cleaned and locked securely. Keep more of your weekend for you!

When the seasons over we can close it down for you

"Season Close" is that final thorough sweep through to ready it for winter. Making sure there are no tidbits left to encourage unwanted winter residents.

Spruce is up with lawn and garden care

"Lawn & Garden" is a new service we offer. When you arrive in the Spring, would you like a few flowers blossoming in the window box, lawn neat and trimmed? If you are interested in having your lawn mowed, flower bed planted, or weeding done, please contact us to discuss it. Gardening is what I love to do, let us do some for you!

Keep it safe with regular monitoring

We can give you a pair of eyes locally. We provide a monthly visual check inside and out. Our "Monitoring Service" gives you peace of mind by offering a monthly e-mail to let you know someone stopped in and gave your home a visual inspection. One of our customers can be credited with the idea for this service. Seems a family of squirrels moved in over a winter. The were not very nice tenants. The owner felt that with a regular inspection, the problem would have been caught before most of the damage was done.

Note: We bring our own tools (vacuum, bucket, mop, etc.) and ask you to provide the cleaning products, if possible. Each customer is given their own vacuum bag. It is stored in a ziploc bag for use upon our return.
